Library Trip
I went to the Heald Green Library on 7th August and borrowed two books I really found interesting, the first book I read is called 'More interesting than your teacher' by stuart wright. This book is full of interesting random facts for instance diamonds, lost treasure, oil,do fish go to sleep, chocolate sunday, etc. The pictures are very appealing too. from reading this book i learnt a variety of information. for example; I found that there are four most popular tartans for making a kilt and they are, Black watch, Stewart dress, Dress gorden and flower of Scotland. I never knew this but do now.
I also found out that its hard to tell if fish sleep or not because they ave no eyelids! So Random!

Jack Vettriano
The second book I read was something I found quite fascinating it is a book on an artist called 'Jack Vettriano'. I Love his work I think he is a phenomenal artist his art work is so detailed and captures moments   really well amongst the tales of love and other stories in 1987-1993.
I especially love the fashion of clothing the women wear throughout most of his paintings.

The singing Butler
I love this painting as not only do I love the fact the people are dancing in the rain on the beach but the  atmosphere you feel when you look at this image. I especially love the quote given by Sir Tim Rice which is,
'Vettriano's is a cool, sharp world of edgy romance and sexual tension. He has the ability to make you feel nostalgic  for things you never actually experienced in the first place'.  

Dance me to the end of love

I find this painting relaxing and elegant. when I look at this painting I feel like I'm the women dancing and no matter the location or atmosphere I have been swept off my feet and I don't want this moment to end!

Night Geometry

I love the erotic passion throughout this image I find it quite Tantalizing! 

 Passion Overflow

This is another painting that i find unique and passionate. I also like the quote made by Jack Vettriano himself talking about his emotion and feeling when he created this different compositions.

'My paintings are about things I have done and things I wish I could do. They are about a bunch of sad, unhappy people who are driven by lust.'
